This replaced an idential Scanpan 8" Fry Pan that was over ten years old. It started to show signs of wear and we replaced it. We've never had any non-stick cookware wear like Scanpan. Almost all of our pans and skillets are now Scanpan. Thick metal, heavy and heat very evenly. Highly recommended. We do take care of it--no dishwasher and no very high temperatures (500F.).

Great egg pan, nothing sticks to it like any scan pan. Only gripe is the hangy hole is not as large as the 11" professional and doesn't fit on most of my hooks.
No one hates to cook like I hate to cook! However, these pans have changed my life. I'm not kidding. I haven't burned a thing, cooking is quicker and more even and the cleanup is easier than any pan I've ever used. I actually use paper towels to clean. No scrubbing ever. I love my Scanpan. I now own 4 and am getting one as a housewarming gift for a friend soon.

I LOVE my 8" fry pan. I use it almost daily. It is perfect for frying small amounts and food never sticks. I loved it so much I bought the next size up too. I will never buy any other pans except Scanpans from now on.
not a slick surface like teflon and other related non-stick coatings......but has excellent release so works really well. clean up is easy nothing needs to be scrubbed. does not scratch like teflon coating.
