I started out buying one HAPTIQ pot at a time. Now with this purchase over a span of several months I own an entire set. Absolutely love this cookware. Best I've ever cooked with - probably worked with 10 or 12 different high quality brands. They are beautiful, super high quality. The non-stick material is the best I've worked with for all the reasons Scanpan and others note. The only thing we don't know yet is how long the material will last. We also like prefer the heavy glass lids to metal. The pot handles stay cool enough to use without mits about 90% of the time and fit in the hand nicely. Do need a mit more often for the lid. BTW: You definitely need a 4 QT. Since these pots are pretty heavy the second finger handle is very necessary when the pot is full - glad they included.

Hi Curtis. Thank you for your comments. Happy cooking!
Love this saucepan. I had purchased the 2 quart one and after using it, I decided to get a larger one. These pans are beautiful and clean up like new. The only down side is they are rather heavy.

Hi June. Thank you for your comments. Happy cooking!
We’ve been using Scanpan cookware for over 10 years. In our view, it’s by far the best nonstick cookware - it’s tough, works beautifully, looks great, and made in Denmark, not some place with poor quality and dubious practices. 10/10!

Hi Ravi. Thank you for your comment. Happy cooking!
The holes in the lid do let steam out causing the sauce to cook down so you have to watch it a bit closer when simmering on low heat. The feel and finish is excellent.

The good -
The coating in this pan is amazing. Absolutely non stick and durable. I’ve used it to pop popcorn often with no scratching or damage whatsoever.
The bad -
It’s very heavy, which wouldn’t be that much of a problem except, the metal handle has zero texture and the barest bit of water or oil makes it impossible to maneuver the pan to pour out the contents. It slips in your hand to the bottom heavy down position. The gasket around the lid also retains moisture not drying out completely. This is unnoticeable until you hear the pan with the lid on, say to make popcorn. Once the pan heated, a fair amount of water expands, falls out of the gasket and creates a huge amount of steam and adds almost a teaspoon of water to the pot.
All that said, the cooking surface is so good, I’ll probably buy another pot from this set and get a silicon handle cover for it at the same time. It’s just a shame that a pot of this quality and cost has these basic design flaws.
It's beautiful, there is no denying that. It's a bit heavier than my other scan pan pots, that have the dark finish. Another thing to consider, is the handle can get hot. It's got the beauty factor, but I should have compared them in a store. I would have bought the dark finish. Lighter and handle stays cooler.
