These are the absolute best. I was looking to upgrade my cookware from the entry-level set that my parents bought me after college. I tried a couple of other brands and they just didn't fit my needs. Then someone exposed me to ScanPan. I have now replaced almost all of my pots and pans with ScanPan items. This pan (9.5in CTX fry pan) replaced our daily work-horse pan - the egg pan. The even heat distribution and the ergonomics of the handle are the standouts among many things that I love about this pan!

I love this as I do all my scanpan pans. It is a great size- not too small or too big for my needs. The pan remains nonstick and easy to clean. And the sale price was nice. The quality of the pan is well worth the purchase.

I have utilized professional fry pans for many years. I did my research for a replacement and hit a home run with the scanpan ctx 11" fry pan. I am so impressed with the ergonomic design of the handle, the weight of the pan, and most importantly the non stick coating. If you are hesitant, don't be!! It is truly the perfect pan in every way.

Worked great with daily use frying eggs with coconut oil for some years, then they started to stick. I called support and they recommended Bar Keeper's Friend to clean (invisible to me) residue on the surface. It worked great. I saw nothing about using daily, though it does have a microabrasive and has oxalic acid. That worked great for a few months, but then I noticed the surface was looking thinner with streaks in the middle where I would brush it, and the fried egg sticking worsened. My solution was to ony do scrambled eggs stirred up in a bowl with a little milk first, and using BUTTER as the oil, which I think might be the main reason for improvement, though haven't tried frying an egg with butter yet.
